Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 23 October 2026

1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions govern purchases made through https://www.faircon.lt.

The website is operated by:

By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are not limited by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Products

faircon products are independently developed Wi-Fi adapters designed to enable local communication between compatible Fujitsu air conditioners and a local network, including integration with Home Assistant through MQTT.

Product descriptions, images, technical specifications and compatibility information are provided to help customers select the appropriate adapter.

We publish a list of air conditioner models that have been tested with faircon. Compatibility with a particular model is not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by us. Air conditioner models, regional variants, firmware versions and hardware revisions may differ.

Before purchasing, customers are responsible for checking the published compatibility information and selecting the correct connector variant. If you are unsure about compatibility, contact us before ordering.

Products may be updated or improved over time. Any changes will not materially reduce the functionality of a product already purchased, except where otherwise permitted by law.

3. Relationship with Fujitsu

faircon is an independent third-party product. It is not manufactured, affiliated with or endorsed by Fujitsu General Limited.

Fujitsu and the names of its air conditioner models are used solely to identify compatible equipment. All relevant trademarks belong to their respective owners.

The availability of a faircon adapter does not imply that Fujitsu approves or supports its installation or use.

4. Prices and Taxes

All product prices are displayed in euros (EUR), unless otherwise stated.

Prices include VAT where applicable. Any applicable taxes and delivery charges will be displayed or explained before the order is completed.

Prices may change without notice. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.

For deliveries outside the European Union, import VAT, customs duties, handling fees and other charges may apply. Unless expressly stated otherwise, these charges are the responsibility of the customer and are payable to the relevant authorities or service providers.

5. Orders and Payment

Customers place orders by selecting a product, providing the required order information and completing the checkout process.

Payments are processed through the payment methods made available at checkout, including Stripe where offered.

An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order but does not necessarily constitute acceptance of the order.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason, including a pricing error, suspected fraudulent activity, an unavailable product or an inability to fulfil the order. If payment has already been received, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.

Once an order has been accepted, we will fulfil it in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and applicable law.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We ship products from Lithuania to the destinations offered at checkout.

Available delivery destinations, delivery methods, estimated delivery times and any applicable delivery charges are shown during the ordering process.

We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe indicated on the website or communicated to the customer. Unless otherwise agreed or permitted by law, the product will be delivered within the applicable statutory deadline.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruptions, customs procedures and incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer.

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

For consumer purchases, the risk of loss or damage generally remains with us until the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods, subject to applicable law.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

7.1. Consumer withdrawal period

If you purchase as a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

For a contract concerning goods, the withdrawal period normally expires 14 days after you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.

To exercise this right, notify us of your decision by sending an unequivocal statement to info@faircon.lt before the withdrawal period expires.

You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but its use is not mandatory.

7.2. Returning the product

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must send the product back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Unless we agree otherwise or the law requires otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the product.

You may inspect the product to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. You may be liable for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for such inspection, as permitted by law.

A consumer's statutory withdrawal right cannot be excluded merely because a product is electronic or because its packaging has been opened.

7.3. Refunds

If you validly withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse payments received from you, including the cost of standard outbound delivery where required by law.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first, as permitted by applicable law.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. We will not charge a fee for processing the refund.

7.4. Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the categories of contracts expressly excluded by applicable law.

Any exception will be applied only where its legal requirements are met.

8. Legal Guarantee and Product Conformity

Products sold to consumers are covered by the statutory rights and remedies applicable to non-conforming goods.

Where applicable, consumers in the European Union benefit from a minimum two-year legal guarantee of conformity under the relevant national legislation implementing EU consumer law.

If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, contact us at info@faircon.lt, describing the issue and providing your order number and, where useful, photographs or other evidence.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the customer may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract and a refund.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits mandatory statutory rights.

Any additional commercial warranty, if offered, will be described separately and does not replace the statutory guarantee.

9. Installation and Use

faircon adapters are electronic devices intended for use with compatible air conditioning equipment.

Customers must follow the installation and configuration instructions published for the relevant product.

Installation may require access to an internal connector of the air conditioner. Before installation, disconnect the equipment from its power supply and follow the air conditioner's safety instructions. If you are unsure how to install the adapter safely, seek assistance from a qualified technician.

Do not install or operate a product if it is visibly damaged or if its installation would require unsafe modifications to the air conditioner or its electrical systems.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their network, Home Assistant installation and other equipment meet the relevant technical requirements.

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, unauthorised hardware modifications, misuse or operation contrary to the product instructions, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This section does not exclude liability for defective products or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Software and Open-Source Components

The faircon project is based on the FujitsuAC open-source project and may incorporate software distributed under open-source licences.

Software components may be subject to separate licence terms. Where applicable, those licence terms govern the relevant software components.

Documentation and software updates may be made available through our website or associated public repositories. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party platforms or services.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

Subject to the preceding paragraph, we are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by the customer's failure to follow reasonable product instructions.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party hardware, local networks, Home Assistant, MQTT brokers or other external software and services.

Where legally permitted, we are not liable for indirect or consequential commercial losses arising from the use of a product. This limitation does not affect mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you have a question, complaint or concern regarding an order or product, please contact us first:

Email: info@faircon.lt

Please include your order number and a description of the issue. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Consumers residing in Lithuania may, where the statutory conditions are met, apply to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba, VVTAT) for out-of-court resolution of a consumer dispute.

Website: https://vvtat.lrv.lt/

Consumers residing in other countries may contact the relevant consumer protection or alternative dispute resolution body in their country, where applicable.

Nothing in this section restricts a consumer's right to bring proceedings before a competent court.

13. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions that apply in the customer's country of habitual residence.

Where a consumer is entitled to the protection of mandatory provisions of their country of residence, nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes that protection.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to an order is the version in force when the order is accepted, subject to mandatory legal requirements.

Any revised version will be published on this page with an updated date.
